About Us

Inn House Brewery - The Home of Craft Brewing

The Inn House Brewery has been providing high quality home brewing supplies from our shop Glenbrew, in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland, for over 40 years. From starter kits to all grain brewing we can cater for beginners and experts alike.

The site of our bricks and mortar shop in the west end of Glasgow was originally opened by Roy and Maureen Williams in 1976, named Glenbrew after the family dog Glen. Although we changed the name of the business to The Inn House Brewery a while back the shop is still known to most customers as Glenbrew.

A quintessential family business Roy and Maureen ran the shop for years before their sons Bruce and Scott took over the reins. Working in the homebrew business from an early age sparked an interest in brewing in the lads which ultimately resulted in the creation of Williams Bros Brewing Co. – see www.williamsbrosbrew.com for the story of the off-spring brewery.
