How do I place an order? Read through the list of categories shown in the box on the left and select the most appropriate to what you’re looking for, then select again from the sub category. Eventually you’ll come to a list of products, there is a maximum of 6 products to a page, browse through them till you see one you think might suit you. Click on more information to see more details of them item, from here you can buy the item. Enter the quantity you want and click buy, you’ll them be taken to your shopping cart screen, this summarises all the items you’ve selected and tell you how much carriage will cost. Either click keep shopping if you want to buy more items or click checkout once you’re finished. From the checkout screen, simply enter your card details and your order will then be processed and dispatched.
What areas do you cover? Our shop is based in Glasgow, but we can send out mail order to anywhere in the United Kingdoms including Northern Ireland, all Scottish Islands and the Channel Islands. Please enquire for overseas orders (including Eire).  Please note that N.Ireland, Scottish Islands and some remote areas are not covered by our standard carriers and so there is often a surcharge for these destinations depending on the weight of the parcel.  Please contact us before placing your order for a postage cost quote.
How much does delivery cost? That depends on the value of the order - you will see that the more you spend the lower the delivery charge.
How long will delivery take? Provided all items are in stock we will dispatch your order that day and you can expect delivery within a few days. If any items you have ordered are out of stock we will contact you by email.  You should note that in common with virtually all small parcel carriers ours find very difficult to arrange a specific delivery time - they plan their route depending on what is in the van.  We can ask for a specific day for delivery but time of day is next to impossible.  We can give specific delivery instructions (such as leave in porch/shed if no-one in) or ask that they deliver to a neighbour.  Please make sure that you check the parcel is undamaged before signing for it especially if you are bringing it into your house (to be safe it is best to put it on a surface which won't be damaged if there is a leak).
How safe is your on-line payment service? Currently we use a SSL (secure socket Layer) system to encrypt your credit cards details. We will shortly be upgrading to the Protex® system to give you maximum protection.
Can I pay by cheque? This site is set up to take payment by credit cards only. If you want to pay by cheque, browse through our products list and take a note of the items you would like then call us on 0141 339 3479. We’ll check that everything is in stock and agree a cheque total, once your cheque has been received your order will be dispatched.
Can I collect my order at your shop in Glasgow? Certainly, browse through the website, make a note of the items you would like, and send us an email telling us what you would like and when you’ll be in to collect, that way we can reserve or order them up for you. Alternatively call 0141 339 3479.
Why is there no picture/more information on the item I want? This site is still in the construction phase, eventually all items will have at least one picture and as much technical information about it as possible. The picture/ layout of information on the item I want is a bit wonky? This site uses a completely new e-commerce package and there’s still a few things that need sorted, in addition we’ve had some compatibility problems with our photos and files and this will get sorted out as soon as possible.
